We want an exploration that goes beyond the travel channels. A pampered safari catering to the rich is hardly an honest look at the cultures of Africa. Can we discover the true stories? Can we meet real people who never see the ‘spotlight’?

Throwing a Frisbee is a casual, low-key way for us to introduce a little bit of American culture to new friends. We want to travel to towns all around Africa and teach people how to play. How to throw, how to catch, and even to play the game of Ultimate.

We hope by doing this we will start friendships that matter. We don’t have an agenda other than meeting people, hearing their stories, and learning about their lives. It is these truths that we want to share with you, and the rest of the world.
